WildBlue Partners with ConnectKentucky

Alliance Dedicated to Providing Broadband Access to All Kentuckians

Denver, Colorado - WildBlue Communications, Inc. today announced that it is partnering with ConnectKentucky, an alliance dedicated to supporting broadband access throughout Kentucky. WildBlue provides high-speed Internet access via satellite to homes and small businesses in communities not currently served, or underserved, by other high speed providers.

ConnectKentucky is a coalition of technology-minded companies supporting Kentucky's Prescription for Innovation to provide broadband access to all Kentuckians by 2007 and improve computer adoption among citizens, businesses and local governments.  Announced in October of 2004 by Governor Ernie Fletcher, the Prescription for Innovation addresses the Commonwealth's low ranking in proportion of high-tech businesses, household computer use and citizen Internet use.  More information is available at www.connectkentucky.org.
